Kingscourt edge out Killygarry for second round victory

Kingscourt stars landed a second round victory of the Cavan senior championship with a 2-12 to 1-11 over Killygarry.

Goals in either half from Cian Burke and Odhran Cunningham helped Kingscourt to victory after Cian Keaney found the net for Killygarry. The win follows up the opening round draw with Gowna.

Damien Donohoe was in Kingspan Breffni for Northern sound sport.

Meanwhile, Crosserlough made it two wins from two as they powered past Laragh United 2-18 to six points. Goals from Peter Smith and Matthew Costello saw Crosserlough to victory.

Crosserlough had led 10 points to three at half-time, before going to win by 18 points.
