Killygarry grabbed a late winner to down Mullahoran in the Cavan senior football championship.
Killygarry scoring a 2-10 to 1-11 win over Mullahoran. Mullahoran lead by one point at half-time 1-6 to 1-7.
Enda O’Reilly fisted the ball into the after three minutes to give Mullahoran the lead 1-0 to 0-1. Conor Smith found the Mullahoran net eight minutes before half-time, making it 1-3 to 1-6 as Mullahoran led.
Mullahoran led 1-7 to 1-6 at half-time. 10 minutes after the restart Killygarry’s Conor Smith found the net for Killygarry’s second of the day.
Mullahoran pulled themselves back into the game, but Killygarry held onto win out 2-10 to 1-11.
Elsewhere, Crosserlough scored a six point win over Ramor United, 2-13 to 0-13 in the weekend’s final game.
Crosserlough led 1-7 to five points at half-time. James Smith found the net on 13 minutes for Crosserlough. Their other points coming from Emmett Boylan 0-2, James Smith 0-2, Shane McManus, Patrick Lynch and Brandon Boylan.
While Ramor’s scores came from Liam Brady 0-2, Jack Brady 0-2 and Conor Bradley.
Five minutes into the second Patrick Lynch rattled in Croserlough’s second goal of the game, putting the match beyond Ramor.
Lynch however turned vilian when he saw the line for this second yellow card with seven minutes remaining.
Crosserlough were able to see the game out thanks to two points from Lynch and one each from James Smith, Emmet Boylan, David Shalvey, Pierce Smith.
Ramor scores came from Ado Cole 0-2, Liam Brady 0-2 (2f) and James Bradley 0-2.
