Kilcoo setup an ulster quarter-final with Scotstown as they got the better of Derrygonnelly Harps in Brewster Park.
Last years runner-up winning their Ulster SFC preliminary round game, 1-7 to 2-13.
Kilcoo led by 11 points at the break. The Down men dominated the first-half, winning all the breaking ball and running through in numbers.
Eugene Brannigan who was very influential in the first-half with his powerful runs through the middle, creating scores.
Things went from bad to worse, for the Fermanagh men midway through the first-half. Paul Devlin slotting home a penalty to leave the Fermanagh men nine points behind. However, Derrygonnelly came back into the second-half with more bite about them.
Registering the first two scores of the half and a super goal from Gary McKenna brought them back into the game. As they closed the deficit to six points.
Kilcoo held on comfortably in the end but will be frustrated with their second-half performance. Kilcoo will face Monaghan champions Scotstown in the Ulster quarter-final on Sunday November 12.
