Ken Doherty will face 12-time women’s world champion Reanne Evans in the World Snooker Championship first qualifying round.
The 1997 champion failed to make it through qualification last year, suffering a 6-4 loss to Jamaica's Rory McLeod.
Seven-time winner Stephen Hendry will face James Cahill. Hendry is now ranked 127th in the world while Cahill is ranked 96th.
Jimmy White has not reached the final stages of the tournament since 2006 but has good form heading into the qualifiers.
He became the first player in his 60s to reach the last 16 of a ranking event since Eddie Charlton in 1992, doing it twice in the last few weeks.
White will face the winner of Marco Fu and Martin O'Donnell in the second qualifying round.
Elsewhere, Cork’s Aaron Hill goes up against Thai woman, Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan while Dublin's Fergal O’Brien will take on Liam Davies.
From Monday, the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield will host 128 players competing for 16 spots at the Crucible Theatre.
The Theatre will stage the World Championship from April 15th to May 1st.
