Inniskeen sprung a small surprise as they ousted Clontibret and advanced to the Monaghan SFC final.
Inniskeen will face Scotstown in the Monaghan decider on October 22nd after a seven point win over Clontibret. Inniskeen's first final apperance since 1990.
Dessie Mone found the Inniskeen net after just four minutes. However, Inniskeen kept control of the game and led 10 points to 1-4 at half-time.
Inniskeen found the net through Semus Kindlon with 11 minutes remaining as Inniskeen moved 1-13 to 1-7 to lead by six points.
Michael Monahan found the net four minutes from time, making it 2-14 to 1-8.

Conor McManus converted a penalty three minutes to injury-time but it wasn’t enough.
Inniskeen winning out 2-16 to 2-12. Inniskeen will now meet Scotstown in the county final on October 22nd.
