Provisional fixtures for the 2023 Allianz National football league have been forwarded to county boards. In Division 1 Monaghan get their ninth year in the top tier underway when they host Armagh. The Farney will have away fixtures to Mayo and Kerry.
Roscommon will also be visitors to the Farney county with vague details of the competition circulating in some media circles. All-Ireland champions Kerry are set to begin their League campaign away to Donegal in late January.
New Mayo manager Kevin McStay will play Galway in his first league game in charge on Saturday, January 28th. The other division one fixture on the opening weekend will see Roscommon host Tyrone.
In Division 3, Cavan are scheduled to travel to Westmeath in their opening round fixture. Home fixtures against Longford and Tipperary before travelling to Offaly and Antrim either side of a hosting Down.
Their campaign will wrap up with Fermanagh the visitors to the Breffni county. With the fixtures only provisional at the moment, times, dates and venues will be confirmed over the coming weeks but the order of home and away fixtures is not expected to change.
