It was a historic day at the Donegal rally as the Moffett brothers Josh and Sam have made it a one-two
The Monaghan siblings had started the third day of the rally in fourth and fifth place respectively.
However it was a final day of high as drama as overall leader Callum Devine was the first to hit trouble as his altercation with a bale on stage 15 burst the radiator in his golf and ended his rally.
Devine had led from the first stage on Friday. Matt Edwards inherited the lead but amazingly crashed out on stage 16 to hand the lead to Josh Moffett.
Josh moved into third spot when he passed Ali Fisher with Sam in third place, only 3.8 seconds separating first and second going into final loop of stages.
More drama followed, Fisher collected a puncture to give Josh a 49 second lead but it dropped him back towards Sam.
On the final stage Fisher had rear brake problems that dropped him down the classification
Merion Evans took third with Sam secnd and Josh Moffett claiming his first Donegal win.
