Roscommon's Aoife O'Rourke and Dublin boxer Kellie Harrington have qualified for the Tokyo Olympics.
The 2018 world lightweight champion Harrington has received the nod from all the judges in her qualifier quarter-final against Maiva Hamadouche in Paris.
O’Rourke produced a scintillating final round to win her European Olympic qualifier quarter-final on a unanimous decision over Poland’s Ela Wojcik, 29-27, 29-27, 29-26, 29-27, 29-27 and secure a place at this summer’s Olympic games.
While the Irish men’s 4x200m freestyle relay swimming team which has been invited to compete at this summer’s Olympics’ along with the 4x100m Medley Relay team, who recieved wild card entries to Tokyo.
