The GAA will commence the inter county season with the return of the National league.
There had been speculation that the Association would look for the 2 remaining games of the competition to be dropped in favour of giving teams a longer run into the start of the championship.
Several counties including Armagh and Fermanagh have suspended training due to Covid 19, with questions been asked as to whether they can field ahead of their games next weekend.
It is believed any team not able to fulfill their remaining league fixtures would see them forfeit the points.
In Division 1 Monaghan will welcome Kerry to Inniskeen on Saturday next to mark the return of the intercounty action.
Division 2, will see Roscommon make the trip to Armagh, while Cavan are away to Kildare.
Leitrim are away to Down, while Longford are the visitors to Derry in Division 3.
