The GAA have launched a new hotline to assist people with purchasing tickets online.
An email sent out to county boards and clubs has announced the launch of the “GAA Match Ticket Assistant”.
Indeed, Supporters can call the phone number – “01–5143322”; relay what game they wish to attend and the type of ticket they are looking to purchase.
The agent will take their card details to complete the purchase. Indeed, The service is fully PCI compliant and has the approved security controls in place to take payment in a secure manner.
Whereas, delivery of the tickets have been offered in three methods. Via An post, a PDF via email or A PDF via whatsapp.
The letter reads; “This new GAA Ticket Assistant is designed to first and foremost assist GAA supporters who may need or wish to avail of this service and is not intended to replace any existing ticketing channels.
“We are asking that details of this service are circulated through your Club, Community and County network (preferably by word of mouth) advising members in your community who may benefit or wish to avail of this new "GAA Ticket Assistant" service.” The GAA Match Ticket Assistant phone number is (01) 5143322”.
The GAA have come in for criticism after introducing pre-sale ticket only entries for matches. There for removing the ability to purchase tickets at the gate or with cash.
