Ballyhaise reached the Ulster club intermediate football semi-finals following a convincing victory over The Downings at Kingspan Breffni.
The result was never in doubt. The Cavan champions, led 3-9 to 0-5 at half-time before running out 4-15 to 0-11 winners.
Adam Heaslip registered Ballyhaise’s first goal seven minutes in. 17 minutes later, Pauric Moore added another as the Cavan side moved nine points clear.
Moore followed up with his second goal on 23 minutes helping Ballyhaise to a 13-point cushion at the break.
Ballyhaise were equally dominant during the second half. Michael Brady pushed the Cavan side 15 points clear 60 seconds from time.
Kevin Tierney added a penalty goal one minute into stoppage time as Ballyahise ran out comfortable winners. The Cavan side will now face Derry's Glenullin in the IFC semi-final.
