The inter-county season will be in full flow for the coming months

It is set to be a busy weekend of Allianz national football league action as it returns after a break following the opening 2 rounds. The Division 1 table has Galway and Donegal at the top unbeaten while Derry and Mayo currently occupy the relegation spots as they await their first points. Monaghan and Roscommon who meet this Sunday in Dr. Hyde Park are top of Division 2 having claimed all the points in the opening rounds with Westmeath and Cavan at the opposite end of the table. Division 3 is topped by Kildare and Offaly who are both on 4 points with Sligo and Leitrim in the relegation zone while Division 4 has Wexford out front on 4 points with Carlow and Tipperary behind them on 3 points each. With the championship set to come at the end of the league, regular GAA commentator Darren Mulvey noted on Sports Beat on Monday evening that it is a congested time of the year for fixtures
