Blackhill reached the Ulster junior football championship semi-finals following a 5-11 to 1-7 victory over St Mary’s Rasharkin at Clones.
The Monaghan champions were ten points clear at half-time before an equally dominant second-half display resulted in a 16-point victory.
Rasharkin made a blistering start, Eamonn McNeill with the game’s opening goal four minutes in. Seven minutes later his effort was cancelled by Darren McElroy’s converted penalty. Blackhill now led by a point.
Blackhill’s Philip Donnelly found the net on 15 minutes. Meanwhile, 60 seconds later he added another goal as Blackhill led 3-5 to 1-1 at half-time.
Blackhill’s onslaught continued after the restart. Thomas Geehan’s deflected goal on 34 minutes was followed by another from Hugh Byrne four minutes later.
Paudie Finnegan’s men were now 18 points clear. Eamonn McNeill made it a 17-point game on 43 minutes, Rasharkin’s first score in 37 minutes.
The Antrim side followed up with five of the next nine scores. Blackhill still finished with plenty to spare.
