Fermanagh lift the Lory Meagher Cup after a convincing victory over Cavan in Croke Park.
Fermanagh had too much to offer and won out by 15 points, 3-26 to 1-17, gaining promotion to the Nicky Rackard cup for 2022.
Cavan started the better and led six points to three at the first water break through points from Brian Fitzgerald (3), Cillian Sheanon (2) and Colum Sheanon.
Fermanagh upped it a gear and were level by the 23rd minute. Caolan Duffy’s goal four minutes from half-time put Fermanagh five points clear.
Philip Brady shot back with a 35th minute goal as Fermanagh led 1-12 to 1-8 at the break.
However Fermanagh picked up where they left off with a Tom Keenan goal in the first minute of the second-half. A third Fermanagh goal with 15 minutes remaining put the game out of reach of Cavan.
The Cavan side only managed nine second-half points while Fermanagh amassed 2-14. Fermanagh won out 3-26 to 1-17.
