The final round of the BRC in Ulster had plenty of drama
Matt Edwards and Darren Garrod claimed the British Rally championship following their victory on the Ulster Rally on Saturday. The Volkswagon Polo R5 crew had over to 2 minutes to spare over the Citreon C3 R5 of Jonathon Greer and Kristy Riddick with Callum Devine and Brian Hoy completing the top 3 in what was dramatic event as Oisin Pryce and Noel O Sullivan who had been in a battle with Matt Edewards for the BRC title crashed out on the penulatimate stage. Monaghan's Josh Moffett with Andy Hayes on the notes took 4th with his brother Sam claiming 6th. Jason Black and Karl Egan were the best of the modified crews taking the win in their Toyota Starlet while Eamon Kelly with Monagahn navigator Conor Mohan on the notes took the Junior category.
