The game ended 15 points apiece at Gaelic Park in the Bronx before the Exiles won the resultant penalty shootout 2-0.
New York will face Sligo in the Connacht semi-final after the Yeats County scored a 2-20 to 0-12 win away to London.
Elsewhere, Roscommon knocked league champions Mayo out of the Connacht championship on Sunday.
The Rossies scored a 2-8 to 0-10 victory at Casltebar and set up a Connacht semi-final clash with reigning champions Galway.
Meanwhile, Clare produced a shock result at Ennis; the Banner county reached the Munster semi-finals after beating Cork 0-14 to 0-13.
Clare face off against Limerick in the last four while Tipperary will go up against Kerry after beating Waterford 3-9 to 1-11.
In Leinster, Offaly, Wicklow and Laois were all victorious on Sunday.
Laois overcame Wexford 2-17 to 2-13; Offaly defeated Longford 1-12 to 1-11 while Wicklow were 2-12 to 0-10 winners over Carlow.
