The Cavan hurling club are the first from the county to reach a provincial decider

East Cavan Gaels wrote themselves into the history books on Sunday, booking a place in the Ulster junior hurling final.

The Gaels become the first Cavan side to make the provincial decider after a dominant 4-16 to 1-15 win over Rasharkin of Antrim.

Damien Donohoe was on hand to cover the fixture and he spoke to a number of players after the final whistle.
