Drumlane advanced to the Ulster junior final as they left Newtonbutler shell-shocked in Clones.
The Cavan junior champions ran in a 13-point victory, 3-15 to 1-8. Drumlane led 1-9 to five points at half-time.
Daryl McGurren’s goal on 23 minutes saw Drumlane into a seven point lead. Two points each from McGurren, Ryan Connolly, Michael Owens and three from Liam Belton saw them into the lead.
Drumlane picked up where they left off in the second-half. Two points each from Gary Tubman and McGurren moved Drumlane into an 11-point lead.
Michael Owens added Drumlane’s second goal of the game on 35 minutes. James Cahill and Owens on single scores.
Darragh Dolan found the net for a third Drumlane goal with 15 minutes remaining to round-off Drumlane’s scoring.
The Cavan side winning out 3-15 to 1-8 and will now play Stewartstown Harps in the ulster junior final.
