Donegal progressed to the Ulster semi-final having survived a scare against Derry in Ballybofey.
Paddy McBrearty kicked a massive point from play in injury time to secure a meeting with Tyrone in next weekend’s semi-final as they saw off Derry and former manager Rory Gallagher 0-16 to 0-15.
Donegal will now meet Tyrone next Sunday in Brewster Park while Monaghan will face Armagh in the first semi-final on Saturday at four o’clock in Pairc Esler.
