The Donaghmoyne ladies footballers completed back-to-back Ulster titles today following a 2-10 to 1-5 victory over Bredagh at Crossmaglen.
Donaghmoyne led 1-6 to 1-1 at half-time; Cathriona McConnell with an early goal for the holders while Clare Timoney found the net for the Down champions.
Louise Kerley also missed a penalty on 19 minutes but she made amends after the restart when she scored Donaghmoyne’s second goal five minutes into the second half.
Donaghmoyne closed out the game stronger and held on for a ten-point victory resulting in a 13th ever Ulster senior title.
