Donaghamoyne ladies claimed a 13th Ulster Senior club title with the minimum of fuss in their replay against Bredagh of Down in Crossmaglen on Sunday afternoon. While the sides did exchange goals inside the opening 4 minutes, it was the defending champions who took control of the game to lead by 1-04 to a goal at the first water break and indeed pushed that out to 1-06 to 1-01 by half time, having also missed a penalty in that opening half. Having been forced into extra time the first day the sides met, it was certainly Donahmoyne who seemed to have learned more from that encounter as they continued to snuff out any threat that the Down champions posed while at the same time registering a number of scores themselves with Louise Kerley claiming the 2nd goal and also top scoring with 1-05, a performance that seen her claim the player of the match accolade.
