Derry shocked Tyrone in Healy Park to end Tyrone's Ulster championship defence.
The All-Ireland champions were reduced to 13 men as both Brian Kennedy and Conor McKenna saw red with Derry winning out 1-18 to 10 points.
Derry had been the better side before Kennedy saw red on 27 minutes. Shane McGuigan converted a Derry penalty two minutes later.
Tyrone trailed 1-8 to four points at half-time. While they worked in the second-half, Derry looked were always in control.
Conor McKenna saw red for a second yellow card five minutes before time with Derry winning out 1-18 to 0-10.
Derry will now face Monaghan in the Ulster semi-final on Sunday May 15th at 4pm in the Athletic grounds.
