Crosserlough grabbed the final place in the Cavan senior football semi-finals win over Gowna on Sunday evening.
Crosserlough prevailing by six points 2-19 to 3-10 and will now meet Castlerahan in the semi-finals.
Oisin Person found the Crosserlough net after 13 minutes in a high scoring opening as Gowna led 1-3 to four points. Peter Smith found a goal for Crosserlough leaving ahead 1-10 to 1-5 at the break.
Two minutes into the second-half Crosserlough had a second goal thanks to Patrick Lynch.
The goals kept coming in the second-half, Oisin Pierson scoring his second of the evening for Gowna on 39 minutes with Conor Madden making it 3-7 to 2-13 one minute later.
Gowna though couldn’t muster to bring the scores back to parity and Crosserlough had more scores in their locker winning out 2-19 to 3-10.
