Crosserlough powered their way into the Cavan SFC semi-final with a dominating display over Ballinagh.
Crosserlough scoring a 16-point victory, 3-13 to 0-6 in Kingspan Breffni. There wasn’t much to separate the sides at half-time, Croserlough leading seven points to five.
Brandon Boylan 3, Matthew Costello f, James Smith, Oran Rehill and Dara McVeety with Crosserlough scores. Whereas, Thomas Smith 2, Eamon McEvoy 2 and Kevin Smith landed Ballinagh’s scores.
However Ballinagh could only muster one further point in the second-half.
Oran Rehill, Brandon Boylan and Harry Boylan moved Crosserlough five points clear. When Matthew Costello rattled in a goal on three-quarter time, the game was effectively over.
Patrick O’Reilly fired in Crosserlough’s second goal six minutes later. Stephen and James Smith and David Shalvey added points to make it a 14 point game with two minutes remaining.
Harry Boylan rubbed salt into the Ballinagh wounds with a goal a minute into injury time.
Crosserlough will face Cavan Gaels in the semi-final on the weekend of October sixth.
