Patrick Lynch and Pierce Smith’s Injury time points saw Crosserlough to victory, 0-13 to 0-11 over defending champions Ramor United.
Ramor United made a blistering start and led five points to one on 17 minutes. Crosserlough scored five successive scores to lead six points to five at half-time.
Lynch (two), Smith, Dara McVeety and David Shalvey all scored as the 2020 champions led by the smallest of margins.
The second half was an evenly contested affair with no more than two points separating the sides at any stage. Ramor drew level eight minutes from time when Liam Brady slotted over a point.
The sides were tied 11 points each heading into injury time before Crosserlough finished strongly to run out two-point winners.
Ramor United also finished with 14 men after Damien Barkey was shown a second yellow card right at the death.
Cavan Gaels 0-16 Ballinagh 0-11
Earlier Cavan Gaels maintained their perfect start to the campaign after beating Ballinagh 0-16 to 0-11 at the Lacken GAA grounds.
A superior second half display saw Jason Reilly’s men emerge victorious having led 0-7 to 0-6 at half-time. Gearoid McKiernan’s point on 23 minutes separated the sides.
Thomas Smith restored parity two minutes into the second half before two points from Andy Graham and one each from Paul O’Connor, Paul Graham and Luke Molloy saw Gaels open up a five-point gap on 43 minutes.
The sides traded four points each thereafter as Jason Reilly’s men moved top of the table following three wins from as many games.
