The ladies senior club championship in Monaghan will get underway later this month with a number of group fixtures.
Group “A” will see Emyvale going up against O’Neill Shamrocks. Sean McCaffrey spoke to representatives from both clubs, noting firstly to Emyvale’s Sophie Corley, that they are all no doubt looking forward to the start of the competition.

Group “B” of the Monaghan senior championship contains three teams with Magheracloone and Emmet Og the first two sides to meet. While defending champions for the past 20-years Donaghmoyne, have a bye in round one.
