The Clifford brothers are to miss Kerry’s first two fixtures in the Allianz Football League.
Manager Jack O’Connor confirmed the Fossa duo will miss Saturday’s opening Division 1 game with Derry. Along, with the following weeks trip to Monaghan.
Kerry host Mayo on February 17th, when it’s likely the Clifford's will return. The Kingdom will also be without Tadhg Morley and Paul Geaney for the visit of Mickey Harte's men.
Monaghan open their Division 1 campaign this Saturday evening with a trip to Croke Park to face Dublin. Whereas, Roscommon travel to Tyrone.
In Allianz League Division 2 Cavan travel to Netwatch Cullen park to face Kildare with Longford away to Laois and Leitrim also on the road to Waterford in Division 4.
