Cavan lost by five points but had a night to forget overall.

Cavan’s Ulster championship journey has ended following a 1-14 to 0-12 defeat at the hands of Armagh at Kingspan Breffni.

Cavan were outplayed for much of the contest. Armagh were nine points clear 14 minutes from time and the lead proved unassailable in the end.
