Cavan missed out on an Ulster under-20 football title after losing 0-11 to 0-10 to Tyrone in the provincial decider at Brewster Park.
Cavan led by a point at the break before Tyrone moved three points clear with five minutes remaining. Cavan staged a late rally but still came up short in the end.
The Breffni men started well and led 0-4 to 0-3 on 15 minutes; Fionntan O’Reilly and Darragh Lovett registered two points each inside the opening quarter.
The sides traded two points each during the remainder of the second half as Damien Donohue's side led 0-6 to 0-5 at the half-time break.
Tyrone’s Ruairi Canavan restored parity 11 minutes in the second half and 14 minutes later Gavin Potter stretched their lead to three points.
Daire Madden subsequently landed two successive points making it a one-point game but an equaliser proved elusive as Cavan lost out by the smallest of margins.
