The Cavan minor footballers reached the Ulster semi-finals following a 1-16 to 0-13 win over Antrim at Kingspan Breffni.
Cormac Callaghan’s point on 23 minutes saw Cavan move four points clear. Six minutes later Paul Duffin replied for Antrim and the same margin separated them at half-time; Cavan leading 0-8 to 0-5.
Cavan subsequently raised their game and were five points clear with two minutes remaining before Conall Mooney’s stoppage-time goal resulted in a six-point win for the hosts.
The Breffni men now advance to the last four on Saturday May 21st.
