The Breffni side are favourites to win the competition
Cavan and Fermanagh meet on Sunday evening at 4pm in the quarter final of the Tailteann cup. Fermanagh accounted for Longford last weekend with a late goal to secure the victory while Cavan were comfortable in their win over Down. That was a game that seen Micky Graham afford some valuable competitive action to a number of U20 players that have been added to the panel. Indeed was a good week for the Cavan U20’s as 2 of their players namely Cian Reilly and Darragh Lovett were included on the U20 Top 20 championship team.
