The GAA have announced their hurling 15 for the Nickey Rackard, Christy Ring and Lory Meagher cup competitions. Mayo dual star Keith Higgins has been named Nickey Rackard Player of the Year. The Ballyhaunis man scored 1-30 as Mayo won the trophy for the second time in their history. Christy Ring Player of the Year went to Offaly’s Oisin Kelly. Sean Corrigan of Fermanagh collected the Lory Meagher equivalent. While Cavan's Enda Shalvey was included on the Champions 15 team. The Cootehill hurler featured on the Cavan team that contested this year Lory Meagher cup final against Fermanagh.
