The senior provincial championships continue this weekend with no less than 10 fixtures to look forward too. Of local interest will be the meeting of Cavan and Armagh on Saturday evening at 6:30 in Kingspan Breffni in the 3rd of the quarter finals in Ulster. The Orchard county accounted for Antrim in the preliminary round while the Breffni side have not been in action since their Division 3 success in the league. With Monaghan and Derry in the semi final on the opposite of the draw there is a perception that this could be seen as the easier side of the competition, something that manager Mickey Graham is not buying into.
Down and Donegal will contest the last of the quarter finals on Sunday in Paric Esler.
