Cavan Eagles kept their excellent season rolling with an impressive 66-57 point victory over Limerick Huskies.
It was Eagles seventh victory of the season, leaving them top of the northern conference, three points clear of Tolka Rovers.
Limerick edged the first-quarter leading 17 points to 15. Eagles fought back after the restart taking the second-quarter 19-8, leading 34-18 at half-time.
Limerick fought back in the third-quarter to edge it by one point, 16-15 but Eagles were too strong.
The Cavan side taking the final quarter 17-16 to secure victory 66-57.
Eagles are now second in the overall league table, on point’s difference, having played one game more than table toppers Portlaoise Panthers.
