Cavan Eagles claimed a third successive victory in MissQuote.ie women’s division one after beating Swords Thunder 67 - 38 at the Virginia Show Centre.
Cavan Eagles laid a solid foundation for victory in the opening stages and led 19 points to four at the end of the first quarter.
David Barker’s side were even sharper during the second quarter and moved 25 points clear at half-time; 39-14.

The third quarter saw an improved display from Swords Thunder but the visitors still trailed 54-31 heading into the final quarter.
Eagles finished the game with a flourish and won the final quarter 13-7 resulting in a comfortable 29-point victory.
