Cavan County board have postponed their 2020 Ulster Championship medal presentation due to be held this Saturday night in the Hotel Kilmore. The board noted due to the increasing rates of Covid-19 nationwide and in their own county they have taken the decision to defer the presentations in the interest of safety for all concerned, their families and communities. They do hope to rearrange the event as soon as it is safe to do so. Cavan lifted the Anglo Celt cup in November 2020 in the re-scheduled Ulster champoinship when they overcame Donegal at the Athletic grounds by 1-13 to 12 points. It was the first time they had claimed the provincial title in 23 years and it seen them account for Monaghan in the preliminary round after extra time before overcoming Antrim and Down on their way to the decider.
