The Cavan club championship draws for 2024 took place last night (Monday) at the county committee meeting.
In the Kiernan's Service Stations senior championship defending champions Gowna will get their campaign underway against Kingscourt in a repeat of last year’s decider.
Newly promoted Ballyhaise will face Ramor, Ballinagh go up against Laragh United, Mullahoran take on Cavan Gaels. Whereas, Crosserlough will meet Lavey with Killygarry and Castlerahan completing the draw.

The KYTE Powertech Intermediate championship will see All-Ireland Junior champions Arva take on Drumlane. While, last year’s runner-up Denn will face Drumgoon.
Lacken who made the drop from the senior ranks, will open their intermediate campaign against Ballymachugh. The other fixtures see Killinkere taking on Templeport, Cornafean against Shercock, Cootehill facing Baileboro and Cuchulainns going up against Butlersbridge.
The O'Reilly Group junior football championship will see Redhills face Killeshandra, Munterconnught against Swanlinbar, Drung taking on Knockbride, Mountnugent facing Kill, Shannon Gaels against Kildallan and Drumalee take on Belturbet.
The draw was also made for the Gilsenans floors and doors senior hurling championship. Cootehill taking on East Cavan Gaels while Mullahoran St. Josephs have a bye in the opening round.
