The Cavan camogie team fell to a heavy 3-14 to 1-9 defeat at the hands of Tipperary at Kingspan Breffni.
Tipperary dominated the opening exchanges. The Premier County led 3-4 to 0-3 on 20 minutes. Cavan’s Shanise Fitzsimons registered a goal three minutes later.
Clodagh Keenaghan added a point 60 seconds later but the Breffni women still trailed 3-5 to 1-5 at half-time.

The visitors outscored the hosts 0-9 to 0-4 in the second-half as Cavan lost by 11 points in the end.
