Cavan minors scored a convincing five point win over Antrim to advance to the Ulster minor quarter-final.
Cavan led eight points to four at half-time, before dominating the second-half to win 1-15 to 10 points.
A Nathan Quigley goal and points from Joshua Shehu 0-3, Ryan Nwaneri and Charlie Fallon helped Cavan to the convincing victory.
Elsewhere, Monaghan fell to a heavy 2-12 to eight point defeat to Donegal. The result was acamedic as Monaghan had already qualified for the quarter-final.
Indeed, two points each from Evan Treanor and Killian Kearns 2f with a point each from Locan Mone, Tristan Nugent, Cian Rafferty and Darcy Fox (free) for Monaghan’s scores.
The quarter-final line-up will see Tryone face Cavan while Monaghan will travel rone in to Armagh. Both games take place on Saturday May 11th. Throw-in times to be confirmed.
