Too good to go down? That was applied to both these teams in 2021!
The 2020 Ulster and Munster champions meet in division four on Sunday with Tipperary looking like their too good to go up.
Cavan have a 100% win rate although it’s been an unconvincing run. Tied at half-time with Leitrim in round one. Trailing Sligo at half-time in round four.
The results tell a different story to the performances or the results tell you it’s a 70+ minute game.
Eight points from eight a score difference of +20 as Cavan, Cavan look to good to go for promotion.
Since their shock Munster championship victory in November 2020 Tipperary have been going one way. Downward!
This on the other may have turned slightly victories over Sligo and Wexford have brought some belief back to Tipperary.
The 4-4 to 15 point win over Wexford might just tell its own story though. Wexford shouldn’t be causing problems to Munster championship winning side, especially a side that can only muster four points.
Cavan should win this one and the march to division three could be completed early.
