The Castleblayney ladies were crowned Ulster junior club football champions following a 3-11 to 1-9 victory over Clonoe O’Rahilly’s at Omagh.
Castleblayney were marginally better in the opening half and led 1-7 to 0-7 at the break; Jodie McQuillan’s goal on 13 minutes separating the sides.
Orlaith Maguire registered Castleblayney’s second goal four minutes into the second half. Three more points followed before Sinead Hanna eventually opened Clonoe’s second-half account on 49 minutes.
60 second later, Jodie McQuillan added her second goal as the Monaghan champions ran out convincing winners and finished with eight points to spare.
