Luton's Premier League match against Bournemouth was abandoned at one-all after captain Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch.
Lockyer is reported to be "alert and responsive" in hospital as he continues to receive treatment.
Lockyer was treated for a heart condition after a similar incident during the Championship play-off final in May.
Meanwhile, Manchester City conceded a last minute penalty in a two-all draw at home to Crystal Palace. Palace fought back from two-nil down to claim a point.
The premier league champions are three points off leaders Liverpool, who host Manchester United tomorrow.
Elsewhere, Newcastle eased past 10-man Fulham three-nil, while Chelsea were two-nil winners over Sheffield United.
