Strikers Sinclair Armstrong and Jonathan Afolabi have been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad to face the Netherlands.
Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has been hit with an injury crisis in his forwards. Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson, pulled out of the squad earlier this week due to injury.
Preston North End striker Will Keane suffered an injury in last night's defeat to France and has returned home.
Armstrong, has been promoted from the Ireland U-21 squad ahead of their games against Turkey and San Marino. Armstrong has scored one goal in five league appearances for QPR this season
Whereas, Afolabi has been in impressive form for Bohemians this season, scoring 11 goals in 27 matches.
Both players reported to the senior camp today and trained with the group at FAI HQ, Abbotstown, ahead of Sunday's UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier against the Netherlands at the Aviva Stadium.
