The opening fixtures of the Bank of Ireland Dr. Mc Kenna cup have been confirmed with Cavan and Armagh getting the action underway on Thursday the 6th of January when they meet in the Athletic grounds in Group B while Monaghan get their campaign underway the following night the 7th when they travel to Celtic park to face Derry. Donegal and Down also meet on that night in Ballybofey. The 2nd round of fixtures take place on Tuesday the 11th with the 3rd round games on the 15th. The final of the competition is fixed for the 22nd of January
