Ballybay Pearse Brothers opened their Greenfield foods Monaghan SFC campaign with a nine point win over Corduff.
Corduff led 1-5 to six points at half-time. Michael Connolly finding the net for Corduff after eight minutes. However, Pearse Brothers battled back in the second-half landing three goals.
Goals from Shane Monaghan, Thomas Kerr and Shane McGuinness saw Ballybay to a 3-12 to 1-12.
