Ballinagh open Cavan championship with Larragh victory

Ballinagh opened their Cavan senior championship with a two point victory over Laragh United in Kingspan Breffni.

Ballinagh bossed this game and led by four at half-time, nine points to 1-5. However, Paul Smith’s injury time penalty putting some gloss on the Laragh score-line.

Laragh battled throughout the second-half to gain parity but were always trailing Ballinagh. Niall McDermott’s point in the fourth minute of injury time creating the two point score-line.
