The Monaghan minors of 2020 will return back to their Ulster championship campaign this Saturday at 3pm in Kingspan Breffni when they face Fermanagh in the semi final of the competition. The Farney side have made it back to back titles in 2018 and 2019, but have seen the competition of 2020 been broken up and re-scheduled due to the Covid Pandemic. A win over Cavan back in October of last year was followed by a break in play before accounting for Antrim in the quarter final, 5 days before Christmas. Again the competition was put on hold with it finally returning this Saturday. Sean Mc Caffrey spoke to the current Monaghan minor manager Mark Counihan who noted from the outset that there certainly is no form to work with or carry into the encounter as they once again enter the unknown
