Aughnamullen scored a last gasp winner to beat Truagh in the Monaghan SFC third group round game.
Truagh were second best for much of the game, but a last gasp Keith Sheridan goal saw them win out 3-11 to 1-14.
Aughnamullen led 2-4 to six points at half-time. Micheál Bannigan and Kevin Sheridan’s goals the difference between the sides.
While Truagh staged a big second-half come Aughnamullen did manage to score 1-7! Bannigan sending over four points, including one-45 as Aughnamullen led 2-8 to 0-9 on 45 minutes.
Truagh, fought back however with points from Caolon Tracey, Christopher McKenna (0-3), Adam McKenna, Adam Trainor making it a two point game.
Christopher McKenna converted a penalty with 45 seconds of the game remaining to put Truagh one point ahead.
60 seconds later Colin Clerkin equalised with the next shot of the game.
The drama was yet to reach a climax and it came in the fourth minute of additional time. Aughnamullen held onto the ball, before Bannigan hung the ball into the square for Keith Sheridan palmed the ball into the net.

Elsewhere, Inniskeen claimed a seven point win over Donaghmoyne, 18 points to 11.
