Arva were crowned All-Ireland junior football champions following a 0-13 to 0-10 victory over Listowel Emmets in the decider at Croke Park.
The sides were level midway through the second half before Arva dominated the remainder of the contest to claim an historic victory.
Arva started impressively and led 0-2 to no score inside 11 minutes. Ciaran Brady and Peter Morris on target for the Cavan side.
Listowel eventually settled. Cormac Mulvihill opened their account on 13 minutes, 60 seconds later, Niall Collins levelled the game.
Mulvihill added another point on 15 minutes as the Kerry took the lead. Nine minutes later, David Keane gave them a three-point lead.
The sides traded a point each during the remainder of the half as Listowel led 0-7 to 0-4 at half-time.
Ciaran Brady opened Arva’s second-half account two minutes into the second half. Two minutes later Kevin Bouchier added a pointed free making it a one-point game.
Tristan Noack Hoffman missed an opportunity to level the game on 36 minutes. 60 seconds later Sean Kane restored Listowel’s two-point cushion.
Three successive scores gave Arva a one-point cushion on 43 minutes. Tristan Noack Hoffman, Peter Morris and Ciaran Brady on target for the Cavan side.
David Keane restored parity 60 seconds later before. Indeed, Arva recieved a major boost on 45 minutes.

Listowel’s Ger McCarthy received a black card for allegedly tripping Tristan Noack Hoffman. Arva had an extra man for most of the final quarter as a result.
Bouchier subsequently registered two pointed frees and followed up with a fine effort from play. Suddenly, Arva were three points clear heading into injury time.
Ciaran Brady made it a four-point game within a minute of injury time. 60 seconds later, Arva could afford a major sigh of relief.
John Joe Grimes fired the ball to the net but the goal was ruled out. Instead, Listowel were awarded a free after Finbar McAvinue was adjudged to have fouled the midfielder.
Sam Tarrant slotted over the resultant free but Arva held on for a three-point victory.
