Arva claim Cavan intermediate title in style

All-Ireland junior champions Arva scored a nine point victory over Butlersbridge to claim the Cavan intermediate title.

Two goals in the opening two minutes from Barry Donnelly and Ciaran Brady set Arva up for victory. Jonathan McCabe adding Arva’s third goal seven minutes from time.

Arva winning out 3-11 to 11 points to secure the intermediate title, nine months after landing the All-Ireland junior title.

Arva manager Finbarr O’Reilly spoke to Damien Donohoue after the victory.
